My grandmother and I used to watch Dark Shadows together & it may have been around 1990 as well. I loved Anne Rice’s novels, but also fell off with the last two. They didn’t hold for me.
I miss writing like that. I can't do it much anymore...it's so slow, I spell everything wrong, and get frustrated quickly. I do still use them for notes, brainstorming, and scribbling however.

Oh yes! Dark Shadows was slowly releasing on VHS at this time and I used to rent them….

I just hate the idea of having to type them later. I wonder if I could do longhand-- because the typing does facilitate the editing
